Standards against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Last updated: June 3, 2026

OneOpenSociety (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. This page sets out our published standards, prohibited conduct, enforcement actions, and how users and authorities can report concerns.

These standards apply to the OneOpenSociety website at https://oneopensociety.com and the OneOpenSociety mobile application.

1. Zero tolerance

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or harms minors. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, video, audio, text, or links
  • Grooming, solicitation, or enticement of minors for sexual purposes
  • Sextortion, trafficking, or exploitation involving minors
  • Sharing, requesting, or distributing sexual content involving anyone under 18
  • Accounts, groups, pages, or events created to facilitate CSAE
  • Attempts to arrange offline contact with minors for abusive purposes
  • Romantic or sexual content directed at minors, or impersonation of minors for sexual purposes

Violations may result in immediate account termination, permanent bans, removal of content, preservation of evidence, and referral to law enforcement and relevant child protection organizations.

2. Minimum age and child accounts

OneOpenSociety is not directed at children. Users must meet the minimum age required in their country to use the service (at least 13 years old, or higher where local law requires). We do not knowingly permit registration or use by children below that age.

If we learn that a user is under the minimum age, or that a profile misrepresents a minor’s age, we will take appropriate action, which may include account removal and deletion of associated data, consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

3. User responsibilities

All users must:

  • Comply with these standards and applicable laws at all times
  • Not upload, share, solicit, or promote CSAE-related content or conduct
  • Not use private messages, groups, stories, posts, comments, marketplace listings, or any other feature to harm or exploit minors
  • Report suspected CSAE immediately using the reporting options described below
  • Not retaliate against or harass anyone who reports concerns in good faith

4. Reporting CSAE on OneOpenSociety

If you see content or behavior that may involve CSAE, report it immediately. Do not share, download, or forward suspected CSAM.

On the website or app

  • Use Report on posts, comments, profiles, messages, groups, or pages where available
  • Block the user and stop engaging with them
  • If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first

Direct contact (CSAE and child safety reports)

Email us at app@oneopensociety.com with the subject line “CSAE Report”. Include, if possible:

  • Links or usernames involved
  • Date and time (and time zone)
  • Description of what you saw
  • Screenshots only if safe and lawful to provide — do not attach illegal material

We prioritize CSAE reports and aim to review urgent child-safety reports as quickly as possible.

Report to authorities

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency number. You may also report suspected CSAM to your national hotline or authority, for example:

  • United States: National Center for Missing Exploited Children (NCMEC) — CyberTipline
  • United Kingdom: Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) — iwf.org.uk
  • European Union: Contact your national law enforcement or INHOPE member hotline — inhope.org
  • Australia: eSafety Commissioner — esafety.gov.au

5. Moderation, enforcement, and law enforcement cooperation

When we identify or receive credible reports of CSAE, we may:

  • Remove content and disable accounts without prior notice
  • Restrict or terminate access to features (messaging, groups, uploads, etc.)
  • Preserve relevant logs and metadata as allowed by law for investigation
  • Report to law enforcement, NCMEC (where applicable), and other appropriate organizations
  • Cooperate with valid legal requests from authorities investigating child exploitation

We do not allow CSAE content to remain on our platform while under review. Confirmed violations result in permanent removal and banning of responsible accounts and related assets where technically feasible.

6. Prevention measures

We work to reduce CSAE risk through measures that may include:

  • Age eligibility requirements at registration
  • User reporting tools across social features
  • Administrative review of reports and repeat offenders
  • Account and content removal for policy violations
  • Restrictions on accounts engaged in harassment, grooming patterns, or sexual solicitation
  • Ongoing review of safety practices as our platform evolves

7. Privacy and survivor safety

We handle CSAE reports sensitively and limit disclosure of report details to those who need them for review, enforcement, or legal compliance. We encourage reporters not to publicly share identifying details about suspected victims.

8. Relationship to other policies

These CSAE standards are part of our broader rules. They work together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and community guidelines. Where there is a conflict regarding child safety, these CSAE standards prevail.

9. Changes to these standards

We may update this page to reflect legal, technical, or safety developments. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of OneOpenSociety after updates means you accept the revised standards.
