A few months ago my father’s health had declined, he wasn’t able to eat or drink. It had gotten so bad that he was considered malnourished. He was admitted to the hospital and that’s when he was diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) unfortunately when he was younger he had gotten into a car accident and had his liver split in two. After over coming the injury, the damage had caused scarring and he was told he had cirrhosis in the liver. He went through with his oncologist and agreed to try chemotherapy and radiation treatments, but unfortunately his body couldn’t tolerate it. He’s now on hospice care.
