Household is currently behind on rent due to a temporary financial setback. Monthly rent is $1,800, and the current balance owed (including late fees) is about $2,388.
We are able to contribute $500 toward the balance immediately. We’ve already contacted the County Assistance Office, Salvation Army, Bell Socialization Services, and Housing Authority, but have not been able to secure assistance so far.
No eviction filing has been made yet, but we are trying to resolve the balance and prevent one.
